What is a Woman's True Worth
After watching such reality shows such as Flavors of Love, Real Chance of Love, Rock of Love, and For the Love of Ray J it got me wondering if these females on these shows have any self worth. The woman on these programs I feel lose themselves and if they are not embarrass for themselves well I am embarrass for them. How can they feel like they are setting examples for others and being degraded and treated as nothing more than an object rather than an equal or even human. Some just go for that 15 minutes of fame but at what cost. Watching those shows are yes good entertainment but also a bit of motivation to become better than that and know your worth. I was always was taught that material things such as clothes, cars, and homes have a price but a person has no cost which make them priceless. Having the right attitude and self esteem defines your true worth.
MTV 's 16 and Pregnant
After watching the episodes of MTV's 16 and Pregnant it got me wondering on wither or not if a certain age makes you a good parent. Some of the girls on the show had a lot of growing up to do and some were showing that they were capable of being good parents. That is a lot for a young girl to have go at it alone. But the thing I am wondering if older make you the better parent. I seen people who are older and make just as many mistakes as the younger ones. I have a younger cousin who was pregnant at the age of 16. She had a few people a little disappointed in her. Today she is graduating on time this spring and has plans to go to college and make a life for
her and her daughter. I am so proud of her because she puts her child first and make sure her
baby's needs comes first. She not out with friends and leaving her child out with any and everyone. When you see her she is always with her baby besides when she is at school. After watching her become the great parent she is I hope that could be as good as she is.

The Nontraditional Woman
Here I am at the rightful age of 26 four years knocking on thirty. Why is it because I am unmarried and childless that family members and others have given me the label as an old maid or future cat lady just because I decided to enjoy my twenties and make a better plan for the rest of my life. For one thing I don't really care for cats but do I really have to be looked as those things. Why should woman have to follow the traditions of marriage and baby carriage. Don't get me wrong I can see those things later in my future but do I really have to set a timeline on it. I have labeled myself as Nontraditional I want to live my life by my own rules and make things happen. I looked back in my yearbook just the other day a look at some of my former classmates and out f almost 85 only about 20 of us females are unmarried and childless a lot of my female classmate either was pregnant during or right after high school and some married right after high school. A lot of them did that because they were following the footsteps of their parents or pressured from others. By waiting I think I was able to do things that I might wouldn't of been able to do if I was married with kids. I see more and more woman each day waiting on wifey and motherhood. I myself feel it has made me stronger and more independent person and more able to handle any of life's challenges that may come my way making able to become the best wife and mother I could be when that time come without no regrets.
